When you love the bible – the love story, the wisdom, the instruction, the history, the prophesies, the knowledge of God and the future – it leaves an indelible mark on a person. Something about it marks you for life.

We can raise a “Hallelujah!” when we have good news, good opportunities, good fortune. And rightly so. But faithfulness and commitment isn’t reflected in good fortune. It is most reflected during misfortune and demise.

Your story is being written every day. Don't let other people's expectations make you feel like you have to write it a different way.

Ephesians 2:10 (BSB) For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

How does the bible explain the sevenfold Spirit so we understand what, or who, that is?

Every bird has their nesting place where each generation return to. We have also been given our nesting place. God has redeemed us, fought for us, and as we have turned our hearts to Him, He has given us a place to inherit.

There are significant lots in our land that we call our life. A land survey typically covers boundary lines, characteristics and features of the land.

The people who have truly been living with thirst; those who have been ridiculed and dismissed and targeted and devastated are the ones who become most thankful, most passionate, most ardent, most inspired, most joyful, because they truly understand what it is to be saved.

Contemplation is part of meditation. Christian meditation is not syphoning out thought and emptying our mind as other meditations teach. Emptying our minds allows anything to fill it without invitation or consent. The role of contemplation and Christian meditation causes us to choose what we think on, what we absorb, and how we are shaped.

We can show tolerance towards people who reject us but we don’t receive their rejection. We treat people peaceably even when they are disrespectful to us, but we don’t receive their hostility. It’s important we don’t confuse respect and tolerance for powerlessness and acceptance.

God knows each thing we do and orchestrates it for purposes we don’t even realise at the time, for good.

1 John 2:20 (NIV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

When we fill our heart and our mind with righteousness, we will look forward to the promise of the new heaven and new earth “where righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13).

If I don’t have all the trimmings in life, what is my life worth? If I don’t have friends or social standing, am I any good? If I don't have good looks or when I lose my youth or if I have health problems, am I of lesser value?

People pleasers end up being what they think other people want them to be not who they are created to be. Who should we be listening to? How do we stand strong and remain constant? We stand on what we know to be true. We accept the fact that not everyone will agree.

We can help ourselves by reminding ourselves that in every activity and occasion, the Spirit of God is with us. His glory is seen even when we may not specifically be aware of it.

Diplomacy is a learned skill and that’s what a peacemaker needs. We can use every situation requiring a peaceful outcome as an opportunity to learn diplomatic peace making skills and carry a heart that remains at peace.

Whether we decide to include people, engage with people, listen to people or dispute with people, all include how we judge and how entitled we feel we are to judge people.
