About the event

In March we're asking good questions about the land that we're settling in. What does our land - our life - look like that is different to how we imagined? How can we live intentionally if we feel out of control in the land we're living in? How can we settle in a land we may be uncomfortable or distressed in and still prosper? What if we've given land away that we didn't intend to? We're asking and attempting to answer questions like this in conversation. We'll be taking examples from personal stories and turning to the bible that breathes life to find answers to anchor ourselves in.

Life has trials and tragedy but it also has places to plant your monuments of hope where you can go on to flourish. The THRESHING FLOOR is a place to plant monuments of hope.

Where is God in the pain? Does He really care about me? What is He trying to teach me? How can I learn and be restored? For what purpose? These questions form the basis of all of the discussions at the THRESHING FLOOR.

It's a good thing to ask big questions like this. The THRESHING FLOOR is a meeting place for all women in the church and community looking to be inspired by other women's stories and testimonies. Sharing life in a safe, supportive environment is an extension of the heart of a loving God who knows we need to be in authentic, rich relationships with others to overcome.

Come, and enjoy the journey.

(There is plenty of parking. Turn into the driveway just past Wild Wheat on Picton Street. The Picton Centre is on the left and parking is at the back of that building.)
