
Don’t Be Afraid Of An Imperfect Life
Our internal compass to do well, and look like we’re doing well, can be borne from a desire to prove ourselves, or from the belief that we’re entitled to a certain way of life. Insecurities about not being enough steal our peace and fill us with a false sense of failure.
Is your house a mess? You don’t have the things your neighbours have? You can’t afford the latest gear for your kids? Are those the important things in life? Maybe you sacrificed your career to ensure your child’s emotional well-being. Maybe you walked away from your marriage rather than lose your own life or your children’s safety. Maybe you lost relationships because of your position in Christ. Maybe you can’t afford to run a car and you get around on foot. Don't be afraid of loss or conflict. Don't be afraid of an imperfect life.
Life may not be what you thought it would be, but are you living it with Godly integrity?

If you consistently ground yourself in God’s love, you will grow in His power and strength, and He will fill you with a measure of fullness that nobody else can give or take away.

Be diligent about following the things God places on your heart to do. He will look after your needs. Practise dependency on Him and allow Him to direct you each day. Not only will you be equipped and provided for, you will be fulfilled, you will please your Father in heaven, and He will establish your life the way He intends, in perfect time.
