God Knows and
God is Gracious
God knows each thing we do and orchestrates it for purposes we don’t even realise at the time, for good.
Romans 8:28 (TLB)
And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.
Whatever our day looks like; whatever is happening; God knows and God is gracious and He will work justly, according to His will.
Psalm 139:17-18 (NLV)
Your thoughts are of great worth to me, O God. How many there are! If I could number them, there would be more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.
God knows the steps we take. God knows the heart we carry. God instructs us and calls us. God is rich in knowing and rich in His blessing. God is gracious towards our short-comings and He is able to turn things for good when we turn things over to Him and seek His ways.
Psalm 139:1-4 (NLT)
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
God’s omniscience (all-knowing) is our benefit.
Matthew 10:29-30 (NLV)
Are not two small birds sold for a very small piece of money? And yet not one of the birds falls to the earth without your Father knowing it. God knows how many hairs you have on your head.
God is gracious. We belong to the truth of knowing the fullness, the goodness, and the eternal power of God. No matter our short-comings, His heart of tenderness and mercy surrounds those whose heart is for Him.
1 John 3:19-22 (NLV)
This is how we know we are Christians. It will give our heart comfort for sure when we stand before Him. Our heart may say that we have done wrong. But remember, God is greater than our heart. He knows everything. Dear friends, if our heart does not say that we are wrong, we will have no fear as we stand before Him. We will receive from Him whatever we ask if we obey Him and do what He wants.
