I thank you for this new day that you've made, Lord God.
I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I don't always feel I can meet it boldly, but you have set me in my place to live it, and live it well.
You give me everything I need to rejoice in it.
Who am I to question you? I will just believe.
So I pray this day, Lord, your sovereignty rule over us
Your protection unfold before us
Your love embrace us
Your favour establish us
Your wisdom guide us
Your shield comfort us
Your grace strengthen us
Your mercy cover us
Your arms extend through us
Your light shine all around us
Thank you that You make a way before us
Your name, Lord Jesus, is our justice, our city of refuge Your Word is our standard
Your righteousness is our peace
Therefore, with all that we are,

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.
