God's Grace

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Help us, Lord God, to discover the beauty and purpose of your grace. Only your love can satisfy the divine longing in our hearts and yet we so often refuse to acknowledge you. Every day, help us to welcome you and walk in the conscious knowledge of your presence. Help us to be beacons of your glory. Help us to receive your healing in all our known and unknown places. Help us to be salt and light to a dying world. Reflect your desire for mankind through us - to love, to show kindness and gentleness, to be wise and understanding, to fulfil your calling, to know the reason why you've chosen us to be your hands and feet, to recognise and embrace every appointment in order to complete the good things you've chosen for us before we were even born. Help us to be your hands and feet. Help us to receive your love so that we can love without burden, and live without offense.
