Let's Do Launch

Names. They expose identity and claim reputations. Such is the case with Mary of Magdala, Mary of Bethany, and Martha. But are these women what they seem on first reading?

We have been given an amazing gift. The gift of victory over every evil. To live it, we have to know it.

When Jesus comes into a season that we think is the end, He brings a new beginning that is meaningful. A new season that maybe we didn’t see coming because we never saw the importance of it.

We can change from being formed by fear to being made perfect in love when we understand we do not carry shame in front of God. He washes that off us and places His garment of perfect love over us, casting out all fear and condemnation.

Relationship with others is central to nearness with God. It’s all about relationship. It’s about restoring relationship and being at peace with others. It’s about finding restoration and peace within our own heart through forgiveness. It comes from a position of extravagant love.

When David learned how to be a king from the position of a shepherd, he then became King. Don’t wait for tomorrow until you’ve gained a certain place you think you need to arrive at. You have arrived. Your arrival has already come. You are called and preserved for now. Be who you need to be today.

Once I understand God expects something of me I need to be willing to do what is expected.

Beauty is not just skin deep, as the old saying says. Beauty is really about what is buried underneath, where moth and vermin cannot destroy. Beauty is all about your fortifications.

Where does your purpose really lie? If everything that you love was taken from you, would you still trust God?

When I don't know what to do, or what to think, I make some choices based on what I do know and who I know to be most trust-worthy.

Identity is a precious thing. The things people say can shape our lives. Knowing who we identify in is imperative.

Isn't it a shame when we follow the majority who discourage? It wasn't the outsiders that were the problem, it was the insiders.

The real truth is not within you. The real truth is not AI. The real truth can be found in one ancient place. If you seek it, you will find.

Don't lug around a bag of burdens. Our heart is our bag. Each day begins a-new and we have something to learn, something to nestle into our bag - wisdom, freedom, victory, joy, change, hope, learning.

To shake off what is not useful so that what remains is unshakable.

Peace is not about circumstances. It's about a person who is not defined by others, but only identifies with the truth within Himself.

A life lived in survival creates barriers. For a time those barriers are necessary, but what happens if you live that way for too long?

It’s difficult for sick people to move. It’s a real feat for lame people to move. But it’s impossible for paralysed people to move on...

Don't leave a conversation at the point of complaint. God doesn't want us to wallow in a dirty pool.

Wait, watch expectantly, and your promises from God do come, like the first rose of spring. Nature proclaims His faithfulness.
