You’re not forgotten.
I see you. I remember you. I know you by name. You’re engraved on my heart.
I am cultivating you, as fine linen is cultivated by the stalk of the flax plant. I am your wealth, your heritage, taken and worked through the strains of your life, as each fibre is woven together to make a garment as refined as silk.
Get to know yourself the way I have made you. You are not second-hand goods. You have been strained and beaten through life and I have used that to refine you for my pleasure and my glory. It is not I who have reduced you to how you see yourself.
I am going to lead you into a land of wonder and discovery about yourself before me, your King. I dress you so that you're fit for my purposes. You must see yourself as I do, for anything else is false! How could I leave you in rags?
No, no my dear child that is not my heart or my intent. You are too precious to me. It is not me that limits you or your outlook. Don’t receive that message for yourself. If you are able to hear me, listen, and apply.
I am the King.
Fine linen is woven by hand. Do you know how it is made? Pulled up by the roots, dried out in the sun, pounded vigorously to separate the fibres. Then, it is finely washed and bleached. Don’t you feel you’ve been through that too? So you have. Nevertheless, you live. All fit for a purpose, my heart.
Realise your purpose and at what cost your beautiful garments come. Wear them with pleasure and pride. Wear them with strength and dignity. I look on you with pride and pleasure as I see you stride out in your finery.
Romans 13:14 (CJB)
Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and don't waste your time thinking about how to provide for the sinful desires of your old nature.
Revelation 19:8 (AMP)
She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean - for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].
Righteousness is free, but costly.
