Milestones

Zephaniah 3:17 (CEV)

The LORD your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love."

God takes delight when we achieve milestones; when we’re pursuing a good race and we’re keeping our eyes on Him; keeping our heart set, our mind resolved to live in alignment with Him.

He gives us victory after victory.

Even when we're weary, sick, feeling downhearted, bruised or even defeated, but we’re trying to run well, every little victory is a milestone won. God is still celebrating and singing over us. As we persevere, He refreshes our lives with His love in every victory; every time we overcome.

Hold on, pursue His victories, celebrate the milestones, big and little. Be diligent when no one is looking. Be amicable when someone is provoking you. Speak up when you know it’s the right thing – or hold your tongue when you’d rather lash out.

God delights over our lives as we gain ground, as we listen to His voice and follow His directions, as we encourage others, as we continue to trust Him through adversity, disappointments, fears and big decisions.

As we say 'amen' to His ‘yes’ in Christ Jesus, the Lord wins victory after victory.

for it is he who is the “Yes” to all of God's promises. This is why through Jesus Christ our “Amen” is said to the glory of God.

I pray you remember His promise to look after you. I pray that today, as you pursue your race, you will celebrate milestones with God, big or little, because He is walking with you and goes before you. I pray you trust in Him and overcome.
