God Has Secured Our Place

God is The God who created us individually, carved out our pathway, and has crafted our destiny. He is a God who will lead us, carry us, and prompt us through every day to get us to where He planned for us to be. He is a God who will never leave us or abandon us in our sore moments or in our valley seasons or in our wilderness years. He is a God who will encourage us, plant us and establish us. If we seek Him, there is nothing to fear in life.

Matthew 7:24-25 (NLT)

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.

Knowing God knows and knowing God has secured a place for us wherever we go, in whatever we're doing, is priceless. Believe that He knows our journey, and moulds us to carry the capacity He knows we can handle and wants to see us fulfil.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (GNT)

But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me.

  • Sometimes, the steps He wants us to take feel big but they’re important in order to overcome fear.

  • Sometimes, the steps He wants us to take are small but they’re important in order to overcome pride.

  • Sometimes, we don’t know we’re taking steps. They’re led by what we know to be right, but they’re important in order to glorify God.

Nothing we do is missed and nothing we don’t do is overlooked. God wants our best more than we do because He sees His full plan. He ushers us through deep waters and through beautiful meadows alike, to accomplish His perfect will for our lives. This is so that we will stand, and overcome through all things over the devil, bringing glory to Himself.

Proverbs 3:5-8 (GWT)

Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths smooth [straight]. Do not consider yourself wise. Fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. Then your body will be healed, and your bones will have nourishment.

2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
