Where There Seems To Be No Way

God is a God of the impossible. Even in their old age, the biblical story of Abraham and Sarah conceiving a child and Sarah giving birth to a son, just as God promised, just as He designed, shows us God's ability to do the impossible, even against the course of nature. God caused their bodies to be productive at a time when naturally, they were no longer productive.

Genesis 18:14 (ICB)

Is anything too hard for the Lord? No! I will return to you at the right time a year from now. And Sarah will have a son.”

Nothing is too hard for God. Even where there seems to be no way, at the right time, God will do what He decides to do.

Isaiah 43:19 (NLT)

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

Run into this day with courage and confidence. Don’t discount the small things that take place. God is at work in the details. When God says go, go. When God says be still, be still. When God says, stand firm and watch, that’s what we need to do. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and stand firm. You will see the work of the Lord on your behalf.

2 Chronicles 20:17 (NIV)

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Psalm 33:11 (NIV)

The plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.

I pray peace over your mind. I pray you will do what you believe to be right and let God sort out the rest. I pray God’s providence over you and His might and His will, will lead you forward.

Trust in Him today, stand firm in the knowledge of His goodness and His design for your life, and be at rest.
