Comfort and Joy
I find comfort and joy in the words comfort and joy.
When I’m needing comfort and joy, I draw on their honeyed warmth to revive my heart. Comfort and joy wrap around me with the love of my heavenly Father.
Comfort. And Joy.
2 Corinthians 1:3 (NIV)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort
Psalm 16:11 (ESV)
In your presence there is fullness of joy
Psalm 94:19 (NHEB)
In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.
Psalm 16:6-8 (GWT)
Your boundary lines mark out pleasant places for me. Indeed, my inheritance is something beautiful. I will praise the Lord, who advises me. My conscience warns me at night. I always keep the Lord in front of me. When he is by my side, I cannot be moved.
Romans 15:13 (GWT)
May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
