Let God

Many days, we get up not knowing how we’ll manage the day. We’re weary, distressed, too tender to face people or the demands that might lie ahead.

When we meet those days in our own strength, they are long and arduous. But when we are willing to hide ourselves in the Lord and let God lead us, gather us close and direct us, the day can become beautiful; a gentle reminder that He sees, He hears, He knows, and He cares.

Psalm 139:1-5 (NIV)

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 34:15 (NASB)

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are toward their cry for help.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 (NLT)

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

Colossians 3:17 (TLB)

And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, and come with him into the presence of God the Father to give him your thanks.

Meditate on His Word and be still until you hear His gentle whisper in your heart. Let God be all that you need Him to be today.
