You Have an Anointing

When we receive Christ as Saviour, we receive His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, who now lives inside our spirit. The earth is filled with His glory (Isaiah 6:3). When we recognise Him and don’t deny Him, we too, are filled with His glory.

1 John 2:20 (NIV)

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

When we receive Him, our spirit recognises the Spirit of God. How incredible that is. And now He holds our spirit, and we grow into His likeness by following His Word, Jesus and His truth. We have an anointing that we need to walk in, that no one else can walk in. It only comes by faith in Jesus Christ and it is given to us when we believe in Him.

We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.

When we seek Him, He shows Himself to us and shows us those things we need to know.

God has shown these things to us through His Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit Who looks into all things, even the secrets of God, and shows them to us.

Each day, live in a way that substantiates the confession of our faith, and receive His anointing afresh.

When you have His anointing you walk in that anointing every day. You don’t leave it at home. You walk in it, believing in the power of God in you, the hope of Christ, and the revelation of the Holy Spirit, to live out your day in practical and heartfelt application.

Be sure you continue to follow the teaching you heard from the beginning. If you continue to follow what you heard from the beginning, you will stay in the Son and in the Father.

You have an anointing. Allow God to fill you and infuse all of your interactions, all of your speech, all of your thoughts. He is able to work in and around and through your life, as you confess and believe.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus
