Greater is He that is in you
than he that is in the world.
What do you follow?
Your own inclinations?
Your own desires?
Your own conscience?
Or the Lord your God?
You have set yourself apart to honour me.
So honour me.
Honour my sanctuary within you.
I am always near.
I never depart from you.
The consistency in which you honour me
must be true.
Hold on to your devotion to ME ALONE.
Remember my commands and statutes I have placed over you
for your good!
Remember not to defile yourself.
You are my temple.
Guard your heart and mind in My Name.
Draw near to me and I will draw near to you.
My glory in you will be great
but you must place me first.
Do not defile your members by partaking in obsessions of the soul.
Draw near to ME
not your whims and desires in your
moments of weakness,
inadequacy, loneliness or frustration.
Acknowledge your wilfulness before me.
Acknowledge your sin before me.
Acknowledge your bodily cravings before me
Your carnality is my enemy.
Acknowledge my sovereignty over those things
and I will be your God.
Honour me in the things you do.
I am IN you;
Yet you treat me like I am separate.
I am not separate!
You are separate WITH me, FROM the world.
Those worldly wantings must take a backseat.
Get rid of them if you truly want to follow me
and be holy as I am holy.
I am your Ruler.
I wish to do a greater work in you.
I wish to work in you, through you, more greatly
but you must devote your members to me
So that ALL of you is consecrated.
There is no separate part of you from me.
When you allow your flesh to speak
you separate ALL of yourself from me.
Don’t listen to it
Listen to ME ALONE
I will fill your temple
Your home
My home
and be a part of you.
Understand my call on your life
comes with the requirement of your complete surrender to my holiness.
Leviticus 11:44 (NKJV)
For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy.
Deuteronomy 11:13-16
So if you carefully obey the commandments I am giving you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will provide rain for your land in season, the autumn and spring rains, that you may gather your grain, new wine, and oil. And I will provide grass in the fields for your livestock, and you will eat and be satisfied.
But be careful that you are not enticed to turn aside to worship and bow down to other gods
Romans 6:12-16 (AMP)
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions. Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities--sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God. For sin will no longer be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under [unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favour and mercy].
What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under [God’s] grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either [slaves] of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness (right standing with God)?
Ezekiel 37:23 (NIV)
They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, (b all their dwelling places where they sinned) and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
