Wake Up and Draw Near to The Lord
When you wake up and need encouragement, turn to scriptures that will turn your heart.
Remember the Lord, He is near.
Psalm 145:18 (NLV)
The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
Psalm 143:8 (NIV)
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
Psalm 25:3-5 (NIV)
No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 86:11 (NIV)
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Psalm 39:7
(NASB) “And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.
(AMP) “And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.
We wake up carrying something in our heart each day. Make sure it's something worth carrying. Wake up and draw near to the Lord. He is near and He has something for us to carry in our heart that will be good for us throughout the day. Something that will guide us, uplift us and nurture us.
Philippians 4:4-7 (NLV)
Be full of joy always because you belong to the Lord. Again I say, be full of joy! Let all people see how gentle you are. The Lord is coming again soon. Do not worry. Learn to pray about everything. Give thanks to God as you ask Him for what you need. The peace of God is much greater than the human mind can understand. This peace will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
