Embrace God's Greatness

I'm calling you to be greater than what you are.

I'm calling you to see my scale of things. Your vision is so limited.

I'm calling you to see my bigger vision

for your lives.

I come to give my people, each one, a hope and a future. My plans are so much bigger than what you can comprehend.

Look at my hand – is it not majestic? My hand is BIG. I am GOD. Can I not do the impossible?

I want you, my people to pursue me and believe my kingdom coming is bigger, so much bigger, than what you perceive. I need you to see, I need you to believe in my scale of things. You need to pursue me in greater measure to receive and deliver in greater measure.

I am calling – who will hear me, and answer my call?

Seek me in my tabernacle. In my courts of praise. Behold my power and glory.

If you know me you will do much greater things. You need to if this world is to prosper under my hand. I need my people to rise up; to not be afraid of being big, loud, noticed, and counted for me.

Read my Word. Spend time in my sanctuary. Enter my gates with thanksgiving, and my courts with praise. For I AM doing a new thing, but you, my people, need a new thing done in you first before I can do a new thing in the world.

Rise up! Rise up!

Be noted! Be counted!

Do not be afraid of it.

Embrace my greatness and my glory will be seen by all people and they will cry out; they will come to me weeping in their grief, broken and I will restore them. I will give them new life, new paths. How they need this!

Instead of being lame they will leap. Instead of being broken, they will be whole. Instead of having fear, they will have hope again.

I long to pour out my Spirit on all people, but I need my people to come to me first and know me. You must love me to know me! Embrace me as I long to embrace you! You must seek me and then you will find me. Purify yourselves. You must know it is me, and not yourselves who can heal the broken-hearted and bind up people’s wounds. It is me who is able – and I am willing. But you must also be willing!

Don't hedge me in. I have come for ALL people, not just you.

Pursue me more greatly, and I will fill you more greatly and do much greater, much bigger things than this.

For the sake of all mankind.

For the sake of my kingdom.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity (b restore your fortunes). I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Psalm 100:4 (GNT)

Enter the temple gates with thanksgiving; go into its courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise him.

Isaiah 43:19-22 (NLT)

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honour me before the whole world. “But, dear family of Jacob, you refuse to ask for my help. You have grown tired of me, O Israel!

Habakkuk 2:1 (NAB)

But the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory, just as the water covers the sea.

Jeremiah 31:8-9 (NIV)

See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labour; a great throng will return. They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son.

Jeremiah 31:21 (WEB)

Set up road signs, make guideposts; set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went: turn again, virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
