God Knew

Before You Did

There are so many occasions in life that we take for granted. So many occasions we didn’t map out but once in the map we begin to see God’s detailed plan take shape.

Moments of rest when you had to take time off work for school holidays. Moments of connection when you were looking through an old photo album. Moments of healing laughter when you shared a testing week over coffee with friends. Moments of direction when you listened to someone else’s story and one phrase became prophetic for you. Moments when you put your foot in it and you had to understand humility.

Those moments become moments when we need to seek repentance, or thank God for His goodness.

God knew before you did that you needed those moments, and He directed you right into them. And before you could say, Thank you, He was already saying, You’re welcome.

Perceive the moments that God has given you for the very thing you needed. Healing. Rest. Connection. Direction. Perspective.

Perceive that they are indeed from Him, and ask Him if there’s more He wants to do. Don’t just carry on. Pause and reflect, and create an atmosphere to receive even more of what He has planned for you.

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

I pray we will recognise the moments God directs us into and acknowledge what it took to get us there. I pray that we will allow an even greater work to take place as He continues to direct our lives.
