When we hold on to parts of our past it stops us from running into our future with open arms. Look forward to what is ahead and forget what has gone before.

When we're true believers, we seek God’s undiluted truth in His Word without shaping it to suit ourselves. God's truth shapes us into health.

How personally do I know God? Do I carry an awareness of God throughout every day, or am I more likely to ask, who is the Lord to me?

Do we treat our faith as the most important thing in our life? How closely do we hold it and allow it to reform our life?

Secure the footing of your children in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hedge them with good counsel from God's truth.

Each day, life can feel like it runs away on its own and we’re running after it. But God wants us to keep up in stillness. Be master of each moment and keep up.

God gives us opportunities. How will we prepare ourselves for the inevitable activity today? What will our choices be? Are we able to be led by the Holy Spirit?

How do we fail God’s glory in us when we live according to our own sight? How do we misunderstand God’s position for us because we view life carnally?

One day, we will be given the opportunity to give an account for our lives to the Lord. Will it be a joyful occasion, or fearful?

In Exodus, the Egyptian magicians used their dark arts to duplicate what Moses and Aaron did under the hand of God. But in trying to prove their own supremacy, the magicians ensured that Egypt received more of what they didn't want.

People who do one thing but say another fail to uphold standards for themselves that they expect of others. Jesus rebuked the teachers of the law in His day for this hypocrisy.

How often do you meditate on the nearness of God and on His goodness? Meditation on God's Word and reflection on His nature is intentional. We need to seek Him for Him to be known to us.

When physical ailments and times of grief or despair come in life they can feel endless. If you’re despairing of life today, know that God is not far-off.

If we don’t do what we need to do in a timely manner, why do we expect God to do things in our time frame, and immeasurably more?

It's not so much the do but the how we're giving our life to something that kingdom heirs need to remember. The amount in our hands is not as important as what's in our hearts.

Remember as you interact with others today, how you can show love and faithfulness so much that you delight the heart of God.

It's no coincidence that the first thing that happens when life is being formed in the womb, is an explosion of light. It happens the moment one sperm fuses with one egg. That's the first thing that happened when God created life on earth.
